The real value of the bible is in the amazing colored maps and black & white prints - which have survived in great condition. The ones of Jerusalem are particularly interesting. The bible has many condition issues, however, and Seller characterizes the condition as "rough" (see condition description for more details). Also, there is a is an interesting write-up in the book about the innovation of using "bold face" type for the words of the savior. Seller doesn't know if this was one of first uses of bold face in an actual book, but it appears to have been a great achievement - at the time - based on the references in this bible.*** ***More pics available upon request.
