The numeral 5 in the date has been double-struck and is Variety #1 on the Coins and Canada website. The numeral 9 has been double-struck and is Variety 3 on the "Coins and Canada" website. The coin is also a "Low 9" variety. To have four rare varieties on one coin makes it a very rare and exceptional coin.
