1930's Dark Blue Mens 2 pc SUIT Vintage Wool Jacket & Pants Trousers Antique

Description: 🌸 1930's MEN'S SUIT - BLUE WOOL --------------------------------------------------------- RARE vintage antique men's 2 piece matching suit made of really thick & soft dark blue wool with very thin light blue pinstripe, but they're more like texture than a design. It's very subtle. The suit color is darker in person then in pics & from a certain distance it looks like a solid dark color suit. This suit is from between 1933 & 1939. It has no union tags. They started using those tags after 1941 regularly although a few firms used it after 1936. Bond clothing moved to Rochester in 1933 so this was made after that. It has significant shoulder padding inside the structure of the jacket. The condition is amazing for being close to 100 years old. The fly zipper is steel metal & stamped USA TALON. Trousers have pleats down the front of each leg & taper in at the ankle. They look like they've never touched the ground! VERY RARE SUIT! 🌼 CONDITION: For it's age it's in "Better Than Excellent" condition. NO STAINS ON WOOL. Cuffs on wrist & pants have no signs of wear & look like new. The only fabric that shows stains is on the white fabric inside sleeves & trouser liner & inside pockets. It has yellowing & wear stains. The jacket has about 3 snags in the back (SEE PICS) I held it up to the light & see only 2 very small holes. The others are just snags to wool, 3 or 4 & none in the front. This suit was not worn very much at all. I left the wrinkles to protect the fabric, it has NO odors at all but needs dry cleaning. It's been in storage a long while. Color is deep & rich & not faded at all. LABEL: Bond 5th Ave. Rochester SIZE: Has no size tags - The only tag is the Bond tag.
