Description: Up for auction is a beautiful neutral cover from Jakob Vitrunik, a detainee in the concentration camp in Dachau Germany and was sent to Prague, Bohemia. What is very unusual about this cover is that it is on neutral envelope paper, most camp covers were preprinted with the camp rules on them. The government claimed dissidents were being held in protective custody and thus were not subject to camp rules (though he could still only send one letter every other week). Very good item for a KZ collection. Munich sub camp from Dachau in Hebel. Scarce sub camp. Dachau was the first nazi concentration camp and was the model on which all other concentration camps were built. Priced to sell. Postmarked November 6, 1941. For the serious collector of Judaica and Holocaust related philately this is an exceptional item. Cover is in excellent condition. Shipping will be a flat $4.00 within the continental U.S. for USPS mail with insurance. Overseas airmail shipping is $14.00. Insurance and registered mail fees included. Questions?
