The original, matching-numbers 2.7L engine was rebuilt and upgraded with SSI heat exchangers, a Dansk sport muffler, 930 valve covers, oil-fed chain tensioners, and a pop-off valve. The 915, 5-speed gearbox was rebuilt during restoration as well. The body was completely disassembled and professionally repainted in 2007 and presents beautifully. The factory sport seats were reupholstered with correct German leather and a new dash was installed as well. This Carrera features 15x7 and 15x8 anodized Fuchs wheels and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, all books, manuals and tools as well as partial previous service invoices.
