1981 Italjet Indian Mini Bambino MM5A MM5B 50cc Barber Shop Motorcycle Dirt Bike

Description: 1981 Italjet Mini Bambino MM5A M5B 50cc barber shop motorcycle. Harder and harder to find these in all original condition. Apparently this went from the assembly line right onto a barber shop chair and was never run. Morini Brevetto engine is complete with carb, piston and crank and not stuck etc. Electrical ignition components are missing. Stator, rotor, points etc. as that compartment is empty. Clutch is all there and compartment was still filled with the original clean gear oil which was drained for shipping purposes. Gas cap is glued to tank. Missing parts include but not limited too throttle & cable, plastic side covers , front brake lever & cable, kick starter and some other small parts. Front forks have stays welded on to keep the handlebars from turning but easily cut off. 10" wheels with good chrome and with original knobbies. If you already have parts for this should be an easy restoration. I see there is a good selection of aftermarket parts for this too. I can disassemble and ship in 2 boxes. Italjet in the 1960’s and 70’s produced many small motorcycles worldwide that are not shown here. In some markets, some Italjet models were re-branded. In the USA from 1968 to 1976, the MM5A, M5A, JC5A and others were sold under the “Indian” brand. During that early 70’s Indian period, Italjet sold many models worldwide, not covered here.At some point around 1975-77 the model numbers changed from A to B suffix. The MM5A and M5A became the MM5B and M5B but the equipment did not change on those models.
