Description: August of last year my siblings and I lost our Father to T-cell Leukemia, a very aggressive cancer with a low survival rate. He had beaten it once before, and was cancer free for about 6 years. When it came back we all feared it wasn’t going to be likely he could beat it again at 65 , but he fought hard anyway, and my brother and sister and I were there at his side until the end. Our Father was a very charitable man, flying stem cells to cancer patients for The Be The Match charity, donating his time and money to red-cross each year. He’d help anyone that came his way. He was ESPECIALLY charitable to the dogs in his life, and was cremated with a box of dog treats as he requested, for all the dogs waiting on the other side. It’s been a year now and we’ve just started to go through some things he had in storage, and stumbled upon a Beanie baby collection from when we were all youngsters.
