2 Dalhart Windberg b. 1933, Love’s Reflections & Glow Of Love 1974 Litho Signed

Description: For your consideration Original vintage Dalhart Windberg limited edition prints ~ Glow of Love and Love's Reflection. The prints are double matted and appear to have a reflection reducing glass. These were purchased at the same time and framed by Meny’s Custom Picture framing in San Antonio Texas. Mr. Windberg is an official artist of Texas. He was granted this title by the State Legislature in 1979. These prints demonstrate Mr. Windberg’s masterful use of light color and shadow. The prints are marked with an issue date of 1974 ~ numbered 521 and signed by the artist with original COAs for each stored in back of frame ~ Affidavit of Limited Edition. The gold seals from each certificate detached and could be reapplied back. The gold San Antonio frame shop sticker also came loose from the back bottom ~ only one was present when found. The avocado green velvet carpet like matting is different and unique from most any of these works found and gives it a very period 1970s look. There is a minor chip at the bottom of the front of the wood frame from The Glow of Love. The manner in which these prints were matted may or may not have been the original intention of the artist thus this oblong type matting could easily hide the Limited Edition numbering. Could use some cleaning up .. the glass area has some minor dirt and spotting from age and storage.
