Description: This is from a deep dive rescue and recovery mission that the Topps company endeavored to launch and started a project with well known artist Naturel( whom you may remember from some of Topps other art card projects) , and he designed this set based on the recovered remnants of the most iconic year in baseball card history, 1952, and his ‘ cubism with a twist’ style of art that truly is awesome. So they came up with this set and some encased art cards ( i have a couple in my other inventory) of 52 cards… can’t imagine how they decided on the number. This really is a cool set. It was featured online exclusively for a very limited time , and could be purchased in two different arrangements, one with an encased art card and one pack of six for $40, or one encased art card and six packs for $120. so it was fairly expensive to put the set together but there was lots of fun chase cards they offered that made it interesting and worth it. Parallels of the art cards as well as the base set that were numbered as low as down to /10. There are a few of the parallels available in the set. Check them out! The cards pictured are the cards you will receive so if there are any flaws they will be in the photos as well as described in this section. This whole set is flawless and would be prime candidates for grading, which would triple their value in most cases, if not more. All the highly sought after rookies are represented at the beginning of the set , up to card number 10, which starts with the games super stars of today and ends with the last ten being super stars of the games past.
