Description: A very easy to grow native Yucca that has incredibly tall bloom spikes. These seeds were collected from an old plant by my greenhouse. The blooms are abundant with very thick, waxy glittery white petals. I've never seen such thick, almost double petals flecked in green and pale yellow on a sparkly background of icy white. Very tall bloom spikes too; over 8 feet tall this year. Good choice for foundation plantings; also a good choice to plant along hillsides to help with erosion. Once established, very easy to grow and drought and heat tolerant. Zones 5-9. Sowing Instructions: Easy to germinate. Plant seeds just under the soil surface and keep relatively moist, but not overly soggy. Keep at room temperature or warmer. Germination occurs within a month. Water moderately and allow the seedlings to produce 2+ sets of true leaves before transplanting into larger containers where you can grow them on or plant directly in your garden space; keep protected until established.
