Inject your chosen liquid culture using 0.5-1.5 cc per jar. Allow 1-2 weeks for full colonization; you'll know it's complete when the jar turns completely white. Once colonization is achieved, it's time for the fruiting stage. Carefully remove the fully colonized mushroom colony from the jar. For optimal results, soak the "cakes" in water for 12 hours to hydrate the cake. Transfer the mushroom colony to a container with pre-drilled holes for improved humidity and airflow. Optionally, add wet perlite to the bottom of the container for enhanced moisture. Then, sit back and enjoy the mesmerizing process as your mushrooms begin to develop caps.After harvesting your first flush, you can rehydrate the cake to prepare for subsequent flushes. Our recipe is formulated to support two or three flushes, so you can enjoy multiple harvests from the same jars.
