Description: This is the real thing. It is a genuine leading edge (front part of the wing) of the famous A-10 Warthog attack fighter jet aircraft tank killer. This is not only a very rare part (just try to find another one for sale somewhere), it is actually also a leading edge off of a very unique and famous military aircraft. As you can see in the photos, it does have a small hole in one area, and a dent in another ( I would really like to know the story behind that! Unfortunately, I don’t know how that happened ) You can repair the dent and hole if you want, or just leave them in place as is for character. This part is very high tech and is built of a very unique fiberglass and aluminum alloy honey comb structure designed to take a lot of abuse from enemy fire, bird strikes, etc. and still hold together. I was told that these cost many thousands of dollars each when the Department Of Defense bought them new for these aircraft. This would make a terrific, very unique book shelf, part of a cupboard, cabinet, coffee table, speaker housing etc.., or of course just as a great display item! Due to its military origins, this leading edge is sold for display use only within the United States of America only, and is not sold for use on an aircraft as originally intended. This leading edge is very large, so shipping is expensive because it ships as an oversize package, but if you are in the Southern Oregon area, you are welcome to come pick it up.
