Description: Iconic Italian Ceramic Decorated Candle Holders Made at the Bitossi factory in Montelupo outside Florence The Design of these striking pots was by Aldo Londi, head of design at Bitossi since after the 2nd world war. He developed and incised decorating style coupled with his mix of blue and green glaze most often refered to as Rimini Blue. Each piece is invariably unique in some way, although these two are the same shape they are not a matched pair, the back stamp is slightly different so unlikely they were made at exactly the same time.
