Description: This Listing is for a 37in Cut....just a bit over 1 yard.... of an Out of Print Fabric called " Kyusu Afternoon " designed by Phillip De Leon for Alexander Henry Fabrics from 1998.This 25-year-old fabric features Bands that run the length of the fabric, parallel to the selvage edges... that have different pattens on them. The bottom closest to the title edge has Japanese Pottery over a Red Background, the next band has men & women in a social dinner scene, over that.. a band of red again with Japanese kanji characters on it, and then.... from there about 5 inches below the fold.... all the way to the other selvage is outdoor scenes with mountains, flowers, trees & fences over a patterned background done in yellows & White. It is a Very Pretty & Unusual Fabric. Because the smaller bands are only on one side of the fold... it is much like a single border fabric. But that border... is a large part of the design. Be sure to see all of the pictures.The fabric is on a mat with 1 inch squares in several pictures to give you a better idea of the bands & images in the design are.
