Description: Seller: Alley-Antiques DESCRIPTION: Victorian Period Accessories. Antique 19th Century original Chromolithograph. This 1870s Chromolithograph is a snapshot into the Victorian lifestyle. This Chromo was produced by John Henry Buford who was a lithographer in Boston Massachusetts. The Chromo was entered into Congress in 1873. Circa 1873. Nice detailed scene of a mother, daughter, cat, and a bird in a birdcage. The Chromolithograph has been later matted and framed in a Victorian Walnut frame with gold gilded liner. Antique. Around 150 years old. Very good condition for age. I have not had this out of frame. Chromolithograph appears in very good condition. Colors are still strong. It was later matted. Frame is period and possibly original. Frame in good condition. Minor gold wear on inner liner. Glass appears to be a replacement. Upon close inspection you may notice minor scratches, dings etc . on frame typical for age and use. Beautiful early chromolithograph that displays great. Ready to hang. Measures overall about 20 1/2" by about 17 1/2" (including frame). Guaranteed an authentic 19th Century Chromolithograph. Pictures considered part of the description. Probably shipped FedEx.
