Forestville Conn USA, Circa 1890. It has a Large Ornate Carved Oak Wood Case with Decorative Top and Sides, and Reverse Painted Glass Tablet with Victorian Designs. The Original Sessions Maker's Label for this Model is On the Back. The Dial is the Original Paper Over Tin Dial with Roman Numerals, with Brass Trim and Center Ring. It has a Sessions Brass Mechanical 8 Day "Time and Strike" Key Wound Movement with Cathedral Coil Spring Gong Chime, which is Signed "The Sessions Clock Co. Forestville Conn. USA". There are 2 Winding Arbors, and It includes a Winding Key and Ornate Adjustable Victorian Gilt Regulator Pendulum. The Clock is Large and Measures approx. 23 3/4" Tall x 16" Wide x 4 1/2" Deep. The Clock is Fully Wound and Ticks Briefly and Stops, and Will Need Attention. It Strikes Correctly on the Hour and Half Hour, but Has Not Been Serviced, Sold As Found.
