Description: Antique small plate by the Alfred Lanternier factory of Limoges, France. The red and green backstamps on the back specifically date this plate to the period 1891-1914. This plate measures just shy of 8" in diameter and features delicate hand painted pink and blue flowers with greenery and gold enameled scrollwork, all on an ivory colored ground. There is also a mottled gold decoration all around the flange along with a thin gold painted rim, and a molded, scalloped edge. The plate is in excellent condition with no damage to the porcelain or noticeable wear to the decoration. It's a beautiful little example of turn-of-the-century Limoges porcelain wares!
