Description: Antique Circa 1920's 18" Glass Rod Towel Bar w/ Solid Brass End Mounts. Glass towel bar is a hefty 1" in diameter (approx) as well as the end mount hole. Towel bar was initially purchased in the 1980's from a gentleman who had access to older homes that were being renovated at the time and would restore items of interest. The antique original was never put to good use and still has the same sticker on the rod. It is in great condition that is consistent with age and use as it has been stored safely for decades. The glass rod is very clean & clear and shows very few issues in terms of surface scratching and blemishes (see photos). The brass end mounts are hollow and have tarnished a bit over the years. A unique and rare bathroom or kitchen accessory that is ready to be mounted and put to good use.
