Beautifully cut and hand decorated Mantle Luster Enamel Portrait and FloralFeaturing long chunky prisms that refract light brilliantly on its deep emerald green ground. Gorgeous handprinted scenic medallions surround the upper portion which has a lovely cut rim, white overlay on the stem.Absolutely stunning! There is also gold enamel scroll type accents throughout. The top of the bowl portion is cut so pretty featuring a scalloped cut rim which can be seen must have been quite a challenge to execute. This is by far one of the prettiest examples of profound design and workmanship in crystal, comparable to Moser quality.The Luster holds (9) nine- 8.5 inch long prisms. This is elegant and one of the better that I have seen.The age is late-19th Century circa 1870s-1890s and for its age it is in great condition. The mantle luster is in very good condition, all of the portrait and floral medallions are in very fine condition, some wear to the gold on the stem, the mantle luster is foundwith no damage, a museum quality piece, minor scattered chipping on prisms, age appropriate wear, please preview the pictures with consideration of such.
