Description: Up for auction is an antique Steuben Verre de Soie #138 open salt measuring 3.5" in diameter. This was really hard to photograph because the Verre de Soie finish tends to make the object look blurry. It is stunning in person. It is unsigned, which is normal for this salt. Steuben produced Verre de Soie pieces from 1905-1930. The salt has a couple of faint scratches on the bottom from use, but otherwise is in very good vintage, pre-owned condition with no chips.
