Description: Offering in good working condition, a very early spoke shave plane designed to have a double blade. This item is listed in books and catalogs as Stanley's No. 41 Victor Spoke Shave, but they do note that the Bailey company was the manufacturer. In addition to the heavy staining and patina, there is one little nick on the handle as shown in the photos. I see no maker stamps on the plane or blades, but this item matches the illustration given in John Walter's "bible' on Stanley tools. See photos for details and other aspects of condition. Email me if you have any questions on the condition of this item. See my other auctions for more interesting items.
