Description: This listing is for a Vintage/Antique Small Wooden Painted Lamp Base stamped 'Liberty' in the Bloomsbury Charleston Style. It is wonderfully evocative of the painted works of Vanessa Bell & Duncan Grant. I can't find another anywhere & I've been looking for years as I wanted it to be part of a pair! It is old & retains its vintage wiring & plug. It's base is painted in the Bloomsbury style & colours. I have no provenance & can't date it. Please let me know if you are able to help! It is small. Possibly requiring a 'candle shade'. Its stunning & in my opinion is a genuine 'Liberty of London' piece dating from the 1950's & may be earlier. Please study the pics to see the amazing paint work.
