The sockets have been cleaned and tested and are working well. The fixture has updated vintage style cloth wiring. The painted finish is a beautiful antique gold with some black in the crevices that brings out the geometric details - just a few small rubs in the paint here and there - nothing that takes away from the beauty or that will be noticed when hung and in use (see closeups). A few normal hairline cracks in the brass cups over the bulbs, which won't effect the use. ;) Use 2 standard-base light bulbs up to 60 watts each, or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like. The bulbs shown are not included. He was restoring antique lighting for almost 40 years. This beautiful light was thoughtfully and skillfully restored by Bob to the tiniest detail. From new wiring to cleaning to touching up, buffing and polishing, Bob was a master at the details.
