Description: Barberry lid clear EAPG diameter 7 3/4" and 3 3/4" height manufactured by McKee & Brothers , Pittsburgh, PA circa 1880. The Boston & Sandwich Glass Co., Sandwich MA., circa 1850-1860’s The footed sauce is clear any colors you see in the photographs are reflections of the outdoors where I took the photos. This piece sits upright on level surface and has the lovely bubbles, straw marks and waviness common to this era of glassware. Clarity and color of the glass is excellent. Crisp impression from the mold. There is mold roughness on outside and inside rim and several small chips and on the knob the stem is broken -chipped on the shell shaped knob.
