Description: 🥬 The famous Cabbage Leaf pattern by Wedgwood & Barlaston of Etruria, England 🥬 -- Set of 16 -- 7.75" Diameter 🥬The cabbage leaf design was first produced in the 18th century and continued production through the mid 20th century. Due to different manufacturing years, plates carry varying appearances due to kiln/firing processes + glazing. 🥬All plates are stamped on the back with a makers mark from Wedgwood. • 12 plates contain various serial numbers • 4 plates do not have a serial number 🥬Serial numbers marked various meanings such as mold numbers, factory number, batch number, and/or year it was produced. Because of this, each plate varies slightly from its counterpart. 🥬Good vintage condition. No chips or cracks in the plate. Some cracks below the glaze are visible in certain areas but does not affect the integrity of the plate itself. Each could use a long soak in a vinegar + purified water solution due to hard water build up on the surface. Examples are pictured above.
