Description: Campagnolo Triomphe braze on shift lever set new in the package. These are from the late Campy NR/SR and early C-record era. They are friction. Probably good for narrow 7sp, perhaps could get them to work with 8sp or more but there will be a lot of lever travel. What's nice about these is they polish up to an amazing gleam. The ones in the photo may have had a touch of polish applied (not sure, we took the photos long ago), but it's easy to bring them to a near mirror-like finish. Our guess is they are not anodized. Many C-record levers are anodized, and those don't polish the same. We have a few of these - the photos are representative of the set you will receive (in the sealed package, so no polish applied of course, they look amazing in the package!). This item is perfect for that old Cinelli, Masi, Reynolds 531 or Columbus SL bicycle that you have. This item will be great for that vintage lightweight bicycle that you may be displaying at Classic Bicycles Auburn in June 2024 in Auburn Indiana at the famous Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum The fine print: It is the responsibility of the buyer to determine if an item purchased from us is safe for use. Many items, especially vintage items, are best for display-only due to metal fatigue, other degradation from time, and vintage designs that were not subject to modern testing. If you purchase an item from us and you make a determination that the item is not safe for use, contact us for a replacement or refund. But don't use this reason is you simply changed your mind about your need for the item. You take care of us, and we take care of you! This item is being sold by Boulder Bicycle. We "failed retirement" and once again are in the vintage bicycle parts business. The staff at Boulder Bicycle has been selling vintage Campagnolo Nuovo Record and Super Record parts since the early 1990's! Note that we failed retirement and plan to keep the business somewhat low key. We may not ship every day, we adjust the handling time of all our listings regularly to reflect when your order will ship. Do not ask us to report a lower-than-actual value for items shipped internationally. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay all customs/vat/import fees. And please don't get mad at us if the postal service is slow - we take pride on getting your order packaged carefully and shipped on Wednesday. If the postal service is slow or has other issues, we'll help with tracking and moral support, but we aren't the postmaster. ------- A note about pricing - if we are interested in accepting offers for an item, we will enable price or "best offer" in the listing. Otherwise, do not message us to ask if we will accept a lower price. We review our pricing regularly and make changes based on product availability and market conditions. You will notice many of our prices are much lower than other sellers for similar items. We try to keep things fun and informative and fair for everyone. Unfortunately, we are getting older and grumpier as time goes on - sorry about that. So if you ask us if we will accept a lower price on an item that does not have "best offer" enabled, we may block you as a bidder. Now we have to go yell at a kid to get off our lawn......
