Black cloth boards. 86 pages of music and text, 22 pages of introductory matter. Volume is in good-fair condition, having been well-used over a long span of time. Most of the spine binding is loose and a panel is missing there. Covers are well-rubbed overall, faded, and worn especially at corners and edges. Both covers still firmly attached, but binding has split within. All pages are edge-worn. Two pages have tape-repaired tears and they have much wear at edges; a neighbouring page is loose, creased, and torn. There are frequent small markings in the margins, such as X or XX, in black or red pencil, or ink. The blank page opposite title page has a series of noted numbers.
