Cigar Box Guitar 4-String Brass Hinge Tailpiece with Screws & Guide

Description: This is a specially drilled brass-plated hinge tailpiece, customized by C. B. Gitty for use with 4-string cigar box guitars. These make great low-cost tailpieces for CBGs, without requiring any potentially dangerous metal drilling. We include two matching mounting screws and a 2-page installation/usage guide showing you how to make use of these tailpieces. They are intended for use with ball-end guitar strings, though you could use loop-end if you ran the string back through the loop. These hinges are 1 3/8" wide by 2" total height. See the third photo for an installation example - note that this photo shows the 3-string version, but it gives you a good idea of the recommended usage. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE READ... We ship packages via the U. S. Postal Service, either First Class Mail International or Priority Mail International. While these services generally get packages anywhere in the world in 1 to 2 weeks, sometimes it can take longer - this is almost always because the Customs Office in your country delays the package. In some cases it has taken up to 4 weeks for a package to be delivered. We will not consider an item as "lost" until at least 30 days have passed from the time of shipment. Also, you may be responsible for local customs duties and taxes depending on your country's laws. This may mean that our packaging materials occasionally show some shipping scuffs, labels, printing or other markings, but used cardboard does the job just fine.
