Complete Set of 56 State/Territory Quarters, 1999-2009, in a Colorful Map Album

Description: This colorful bi-fold album contains all quarters from the 1999-2008 Statehood Series plus the six 2009 quarters representing the District of Columbia and the 5 US territories - 56 coins in all ($14 face value.) All the quarters are from the Denver mint and are mounted to show the unique reverse design of each. All are in AU or BU condition - which is becoming more & more difficult to obtain in a complete set from a single Mint at such a low price. When opened, the album displays a color-coded map of the continental US, with the two outlying states shown in different scales in the margin. The color coding indicates the year a quarter was minted. For the larger states, the quarters are held inside or near the state’s outline. For the smaller states, the quarters are off-set in the margin, with lines leading to the state in the map. DC, and the 5 territories are also in the margin, with the latitude & longitude of the territories printed below the quarters. On an overleaf page (attached to the right-hand panel), the states are listed in statehood order (showing the date of statehood) and grouped by the year that the state’s quarter was minted. DC and the territories are also grouped with their square mileage listed. On the other side of the overleaf, the states are again listed in order of statehood along with an interesting fact or two about each state, and facts about DC and the territories are also included. Please be aware that due to the size and weight, shipping cost for this item is higher than usual. Also, I wrap the album with foam insulation, use stiffeners to protect the corners, and the album is shipped in an oversized stiff mailer envelope.
