Description: Rare one-of-a-kind 'DEATH Gallery' MICHAEL ALLRED original color guide, 1994 Vertigo featured in SANDMAN created by Neil Gaiman. The final art was featured in the DEATH GALLERY comic art anthology from 1994. Production art page measuring 9"x11" is on Strathmore acid free archival paper (watermark is visible on back) painted on by comics colorist Daniel Vozzo. This is unsigned as is most comic production pages. The paper is wrinkled from the original watercolor application and paperclip at top of page, but is in excellent condition otherwise with no tears or rips. Nice art that looks better than the final printed version. ****Just added 11/29/24*****: The original exhibit postcard with DEATH by Dave McKean. This used postcard is from Nov. 1993 and announced the NYC comic art gallery exhibit showcasing the DEATH GALLERY pieces.
