Dorothy Dandridge Framed Display Autograph Signed PSA Authentic Gorgeous Photo!

Description: Before you is a collage I put together with an authenticated, encapsulated and beautiful autograph of Dorothy Dandridge. Who is Dorothy Dandridge? Dorothy Jean Dandridge (November 9, 1922 – September 8, 1965) was an American film and theater actress, singer, and dancer. She is one of the first black actresses to have a successful Hollywood career and the first to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in the 1954 film Carmen Jones. Dandridge performed as a vocalist at the famed Cotton Club and Apollo Theater. During her early career, she performed as a part of The Wonder Children, later The Dandridge Sisters, and appeared in a succession of films, usually in uncredited roles. In 1959, Dandridge was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Porgy and Bess. She is the subject of the 1999 HBO biographical film, Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. She has been recognized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Dandridge was married and divorced twice, first to dancer Harold Nicholas (the father of her daughter, Harolyn Suzanne) and then to hotel owner Jack Denison. Dandridge died under mysterious circumstances at age 42. How was this collage made? I bought a film contract on eBay, see photos, a year ago which included the autographs of Stanley Kubrick, Dorothy Dandridge and others. I cut the autographs out and had them individually authenticated and encapsulated by the PSA/DNA last fall. Then I set out to find the nicest photo of Dorothy I could. The photo scene here is a reprint of a publicity photo when she was very young and singing in famous clubs. I then took all this to Hobby Lobby and had it framed for about $200. It took me over 2 hours at Hobby Lobby to decide how to do this, but you may notice that I made it a point to have everything flush with everything else. The glass is also the UV Protective type, but I would suggest the you NEVER let sunlight on this, even reflected sunlight can damage black and white photographs. So that's how I did it. It looks so awesome in person and I don't really want to let this go, but I will if the price is right. I can provide Hobby Lobby receipts upon request. Please let me know if you have questions.
