Description: This is a vintage pre-owned empty canister/container that held loose English Breakfast Tea. The tall rectangular cannister is beautifully engraved on all four sides. What a lovely addition this unique canister would be to someone's advertising or tin collection. It could use a polishing if you wish to do so. Measuring 6.75 inches in length/height and 3.5 inches width each side, this container is both unique and functional. The lid is in beautiful condition - no bends or nicks - it has a diameter of 2 7/8 inches at the opening. The cannister is in good condition - some tarnishing and a couple of small dings. It may show light scratches and signs of use and age. I don't know what this is made of. I have seen these advertised as silver plate, but it is not marked as such. It is heavy for its size.
