Artist Statement I paint the things in this world that I think are the most beautiful creations of God, and sometimes combine flowers with what I believe to be one of the most beautiful creations of humankind, crystal vases. The reflections of light and colors are intended to cause us to appreciate the beauty of Gods creation and the artistry of people.The flowers and crystal represent people and their belongings, sliding unknowingly into eternal punishment, their conciences seared by repeated sin 1 Timothy 4:2 "speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron" . Idealized forms are meant to inspire us to what's possible and perfect, and the colors are meant to complement other items in the room so your entire indoor space will glow with life and possibility.
