Description: This original oil painting was done by Utah artist Frank Erickson. It looks to show a Utah landscape that is identified on the back of the painting as a view of Lookout Peak from Emigration Canyon. It is on canvas and measures 16" x 24". With the frame it measures 21 1/4" x 29 1/4". It is signed in the lower left and dated 1979. It is in great vintage condition. Frank Erickson (1922-1989) was known for his impressionist landscapes. He also showed his work at the Phranque's Gallery in Salt Lake City. And he is listed in the Dictionary of Utah Art 1980.
