Description: A highly decorative French, probably Paris/Sevres, dinner plate, hand painted with roses and feuillage, gilt highlights and decorative swags. Of outstanding quality; late eighteenth century. The pictures tell the story. A similar extensive assembly of dinnerwares (but without the swags) was offered at Sothebys, Paris in 2023. Size: 8.75 inches/22 cms in diameter Date: c1780 Condition: very good, no damage. A rare survivor in this condition.
