Description: This geode rock clamp is designed to hold Geodes / thundereggs or any round rock with out the need to clamp the rock directly into the saws vice, instead you clamp this geode clamp into the saws vice , make a few adjustments and tighten the clamp in your saw' vice, then insert the rock to be cut into the clamp and start cutting. The spring loaded bars hold the rock securely as it is being cut in half. You do not have to tighten the geode , it is held in place by a strong spring action and allows you to quickly change the rock by lifting the spring loaded bars removing the original pieces and inserting the new rock to be cut. This is a great quick and secure way to cut round rocks with out having them slip out of your saw's normal rock vice as they so often do. it also makes for great production work as you dont have to spend the minutes reclamping your next rock saving time. You can also cut square rocks precisely in half making 2 equal , perfect pyramids, a additional benefit of this geode clamp This clamp is only designed to cut a rock in half, not to slab it into slabs, I sell other rock clamps to hold hard to clamp rocks and be able to slab them getting every possible slab if that is what you are wanting.
