Description: This George Kell Spalding Resilite 120 bat appears to date to the 19460's. It is 34" long and feels very heavy at about 34 or 35 ounces. It has strong markings and a nice color and patina but does have a crack on the back side of the handle that has been repaired with a few nails as the photos will show. This size and weight of bat match Mr. Kell's H&B bat orders over the years, so is accurately representative of the size and type of bat he would have actually used. He is a member of the baseball HOF, 10 time AL All Star, Batting Champion in 1949 hitting .343 and led the AL twice in total hits in 1950 and 1951. All inquiries welcome.
