The kettle has removable cover, swing handle and faucet-shaped spout; on the back side of the body, there is an engraved large heraldic crest (please see picture). The stand bears a small crest, featuring a Hand holding Laurel Wreath. There is a full set of hallmarks on the burner, standing for Alexander Field of London, 1818. The kettle has partially rubbed marks belonging to George IV era (1820-1830). This majestic set measures: 13 1/4" tall, 10 1/4" across the spout, 7 1/4" in diameter, total weight is 1,660.8 grams or 53.57 ozs Troy.The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
