Description: Dating to the 1880s, a beautiful Hampshire Pottery stein shaped mug! This piece has a cream body with the upper third and handle having a raised leaf and berry pattern in hues of green and golden browns done in a majolica glaze. The remains of gold trim at the rim and base are still present. The mug is 5 5/8" tall. Hampshire Pottery is highly desirable American art pottery, and this piece is a wonderful example.Condition is very good.
