Description: Gorgeous Handmade Native American Navajo Sterling Silver Fox turquoise Ring size 5. Stamped sterling silver. Conditions are new with tags. This ring is made with the famous Navajo style; this is the process of hand-cutting each stone to fit in a flush surface. As you can see, the stones are also slightly raised to give it a textured feeling. There is 1 hand cut stone soldered into a silver bezel with gorgeous silver work surrounding the stone. There are two leafs surrounding the stone. The ring is approximately 5/8 inch’s wide and 5/8 inch’s long. Size: 5 Weight: 4.1 grams. At one time, the Fox Turquoise mine was Nevada’s largest producer of turquoise. This mine has been excavated since prehistoric times, but Charles Schmidtlein and Johnnie Francis filed the first claim in 1914. The mine is generally recognized as “Fox Turquoise Mine” but has also been called the “Cortez Mine”. And it’s sizable. (Extra) Thank you for shopping at our store! B
