Description: I created this diorama to be a stand alone piece that could be used for toy photography, a child's nightlight, or dropped into a layout ready for use! As most of my dioramas no wires are visible and the LEDs are wired within the foam base. It also has a detachable Velcro base with thick, rigid poster board to protect any wood or delicate surfaces. When the base is detached with the Velcro the battery pack is easy to gain access to in order to change batteries. It can also be easily wired to run off track power on your layout. The HO Scale figures are hand painted and included in the diorama, but can easily be removed, as well as the "Caution, Dinosaurs" sign. The water at the bottom is hand poured 2 part epoxy with real hand painted rocks on the bottom of the stream. The waterfall is a mixture of cast plaster and real rocks, and the water in the waterfall is detailed with gloss varnish and dry brushed with white acrylic. The vegetation is mainly handmade with some Woodland Scenics and scale fish tank palms and ferns. The entire diorama was a 32 hour build and will be a perfect addition to any HO or N scale layout or as a display piece for your child's bedroom!
