Description: This is an emotive and sensitive painting of a classic woman with sparkling green eyes resting on the viewer and a small hound resting its' head in her lap while devotedly staring at her. The piece is lovely and she is seated in a upper middle class setting with green walls and mantle decor proudly displayed. She is dressed in 20's - 40's attire and the is signed in the lower right corner by the Hungarian / International artist= MEGYESI SCHWARTZ ANTAL London The piece is framed in a heavy walnut (I think) frame with gilt inner edge and displays beautifully. The piece does have one rub on the painting as seen in the lower left foreground. The framed work measures 50" x 40" x 3".
