The image measures 4 3/4 x 6 5/8 in inches, sheet size is approx. 8 1/4 x 8 1/2 inches and the work dates to 1896. It is titled and annotated in pencil "Orig. Radg. v. Liebermann". It is printed in dark sepia ink on buff colored wove paper with good margins. Aside from some minor surface grime to the reverse, it is in excellent condition and ready for framing. The catalogue raisonne reference is (Schiefler 39). Max Liebermann (1847-1935) was a German painter and printmaker, and one of the leading proponents of Impressionism in Germany and continental Europe.
