Description: This original reduction linocut print features the lovely island of Iona in the Scottish Inner Hebrides. It is based on photographs I took while visiting the island during the month of September. I pressed this print at home using the back of a spoon and a bamboo barren. This is the 7th in an edition of 10 prints. As this is a reduction linocut print there will be no other original prints made from this plate, which was destroyed during the printing process. This artwork is printed in Schmincke Aqua Linoldruck Linoprint Ink (Water Based) on Winsor and Newton Smooth Drawing Paper (220gsm). The print measures approx 6 x 4 inches and the paper is hand cut to approx A5 (landscape orientation).It will come unframed and unmounted. PLEASE NOTE: There are a few ink flaws in the white border area around the print. I have disguised these using white ink. I will provide a small Certificate of Authenticity with the print. The print will come wrapped in cellophane and tissue paper. I will post it out to you in a board backed envelope and I will send it 1st class Royal Mail Standard Delivery or Standard International Delivery if sending overseas. If ordering multiple items, I will charge full postage for the highest priced item and then 20p for each additional item mailed out within the same envelope.
