In the final face-off between man and shark “Bruce” was to “jump” on the stern, destroying it and gobbling up Quint in the process. Soon after, Chief Brody would post up on its mast, and give his famous line. After filming rapped up, the Orca 1 was shipped to Hollywood, where it would eventually be dismantled and discarded.
