Description: JR.O.U.A.M. MEDAL Camden NJ October 17-18,1894 marking the 25th anniversary . From an estate auction and sold in as found condition, see photos. Measures about 3.5" in length and 1.5" at widest point. Top of medal is unmarked on rear with an open pin and front is inscribed CAMDEM in raised letters and 1894 below. Has a red white and blue ribbon (Needs Cleaning) with inscription " GOD , OUR COUNTRY & FLAG, OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS , THE HOLY BIBLE THEREIN " in three lines of script. Shield medal is unmarked on back and on front says 25TH ANNIVERSARY, with symbols in center of shield, and below JR.O.U.A.M. , Camden ,N .J. Oct.17&18,1894. Shield has crisp lettering considering its age. Came from an antique dealers estate auction and came in a display shadow box with other memorabilia that was either for sale or display. We are selling the medal separately.
