Description: ARTHUR RACKHAM This is a lot of two hardcover books with dust jackets featuring fairy tales illustrated by the famous English illustrator, Arthur Rackham. The titles include: GRIMM'S FAIRY TALES(The Viking Press, c. 1973, No edition or printing information given) The book, which features 12 full-color plates and many drawings in the text, is in good to very good condition with a little wear to the corners, light soiling and yellowing inside the covers and on the first and last end pages, and spotting on the top closed edge of the pages. Other than a few small spots of soiling or light corner creases, the pages are in very good shape. The dust jacket, which is not price-clipped, is in acceptable condition with fading along the spine, wear along the edges, a ~ 1 inch long tear at the front bottom edge of the spine, and a light moisture stain along parts of the top and bottom edges of the underside. These stains are not apparent on the outside of the dust jacket or on the book itself. FAIRY TALES BY HANS ANDERSEN(Weathervane Books, No copyright year found but presumed to be the 1977 edition due to the date included in the inscription, "A" printing) The book, which features 12 full-color plates and many drawings in the text, is in very good condition with some spotting to the top closed edge of the pages and an inscription written on the second end page. Otherwise, the pages are in very nice condition. The dust jacket is in acceptable to good condition with tears at the top and bottom of the spine, a small crease on the front flap, and spotting/soiling along the top edge of the underside.
