M A Hadley Signed Pottery Ship Trivet or Wall Plaque 6.5" Round Discontinued

Description: Lovely M. A. Hadley Round Trivet or Wall Hanging in the Ship pattern. Now discontinued. Approximately 6.5" in diameter, the trivet has an approximately 5.5" diameter base which makes the height at approximately .5". Hand painted in the Ship pattern in shades of blue, light peach and a touch of green. The top shows no signs of use; the base has minor shelf wear on the base. This does not appear to have been ever used as a wall plaque. There is a very small loss of paint on one outer edge (see last photo) and I can't tell if it's a flake or if it occurred during the making. It feels to be under the glaze, but I can't tell for sure. There is a light brown "spot" at the top of one peach cloud and this also appears to be under the glaze; it would feel rougher if it was a chip. I have other M.A. Hadley Ship and Whale items, so please check my listings if you are interested. Please note this is a heavy item; if the actual shipping cost is less than I have estimated, I will refund the difference to you. We did it - we downsized!
