We can also mail the shipping label to you if you don’t have easy access to a working printer. Please include your contact information and a list of all the symptoms/problems you have been experiencing in the box with the radio. Turnaround time is typically 5-7 business days. What I have observed over the last few years of repairing over 150 of these units: These units suffer from capacitor plague. The electrolytic capacitors are prone to failure at this age. There is always atleast one but usually a few capacitors leaking acid thereby damaging the circuit traces and solder pads making repairs for even well equipped professionals difficult and time consuming. FYI……Without human intervention these radios will be nearing 100% failure rate over the next decade mainly due to capacitor failure. For this reason I replace all the electrolytic capacitors on all these radios I service effectively giving the radios a new lease on life. Bluetooth notes: When the radio is switched to FM, the #5 preset button toggles between FM and BLUETOOTH audio. NO alterations to the radios appearance…..NO dash mounted external switches…..PLUG and PLAY. Excluding the #5 preset button being used to toggle between fm and Bluetooth, all functions remain 100% original and fully functional. Yes the Bluetooth module will auto connect after first pairing. This is a music/audio Bluetooth streaming device(YouTube, Pandora, etc)….not hands free calling with a dash mic.
