Description: Up for sale is a Marushin Mauser M712 Model Gun. This replica was produced by Marushin of Japan sometime in the 1980s or 1990s. This particular replica is in good functioning condition for its age and shows very little wear. There is light fading around some areas along with many scratches on the barrel and frame. Take a look at the pictures for more of these scratches. This model is primarily made of Anti-Shock ABS plastic, which is designed to handle the stress from the blowback function this model is capable of. It also has many metal parts such as the trigger, hammer, safety, magazine release, and magazine. When loaded with the correct replica cartridges and 7mm MG Caps (No caps are included with this listing) this replica will make a bang, produce some smoke, cycle the bolt, and eject the cartridges out in semi or full-automatic. I have disassembled and tested this model, finding everything in working order. I have included a video showing the functionality in this listing. While model guns are very accurate representations of real firearms, they are quite prone to malfunctions. This can be seen in the video when the model jams when in fully automatic. This is does not always happen but is a common characteristic of model guns. This model can also be disassembled similarly to a real Mauser.
